Nitronic® stainless steels are austenitic, high-strength, corrosion-resistant products that provide higher-performance alternatives to many conventional 300 and 400 Series stainless steels.

We import from most well known mill from europe and us base company we supply Nitronic® 32,Nitronic® 33,Nitronic® 40,Nitronic® 50,Nitronic® 60.

Available in ingot, billet, bar, wire, plate and master melt products, Nitronics® offer approximately twice the strength of 300 Series stainless steels.

how are the Nitronic® alloys mechanical properties ?

Nitronic® alloys provide excellent mechanical properties at both sub-zero and elevated temperatures, impact resistance at low temperatures and, superb resistance to high- temperature oxidation yet retain good weldability and fabricability, and remain non-magnetic even after extensive cold working.

Nitronic® 33 UNS S24000

ASTM A240 (XM-29), ASTM A276 (XM-29), ASTM A313 (XM-29), ASTM A358 (XM-29)

Nitronic® 33 UNS S24000

Nitronic 33™ has high yield strength along with ductility and toughness. This nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel is designed specifically with strong cryogenic properties, low magnetic permeability and high yield strength.

Nitronic® 40 UNS S21906

UNS S21906 | AMS 5656 | MIL-T-9821 | ASTM A276 | ASME SA276

Nitronic 40 /21-6-9 (AMS 5656 / AMS 5595)

Nitronic 40® is a high-manganese stainless steel with high strength and excellent resistance to corrosion at high temperatures. Nitronic 40® can be fabricated and readily weldable. Nitronic 40® has been used for chemical processing, pollution control equipment and various aircraft engine components.

Nitronic® 50 UNS S20910

EN 1.3964 | ISO 15156-3 | NACE MR0175 | UNS S20910 | AMS 5764 | ASTM A 193 | Werkstoff 1.3964

Nitronic 50 (XM19/ AMS 5764)

Nitronic 50® is an austenitic stainless steel that provides a combination of corrosion resistance and strength not found in any other commercial material available. It has corrosion resistance greater than that provided by Types 316 and 316L, plus approximately twice the yield strength at room temperature. In addition, Armco Nitronic 50® Stainless has very good mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperatures. And, unlike many austenitic stainless steels, the alloy does not become magnetic when cold worked.

Nitronic 60 (UNS S21800)

UNS S21800 | Alloy 218 | ASME SA 193 | AMS 5848 | ASTM A 193

Nitronic 60 (UNS S21800 /AMS 5848)

Nitronic 60 is known for its excellent galling resistance, even at elevated temperatures. The additions of 4% silicon and 8% manganese inhibit wear, galling, and fretting. It is commonly used for various fasteners and pins that require strength and resistance to galling. It maintains good strength up to temperatures of 1800°F and has oxidation resistance similar to that of 309 stainless steel. The general corrosion resistance is between that of 304 and 316 stainless steel.

Machinability

Nitronic 33™ can be machined by commonly used machining methods, and usage of resulphurized lubricant, positive feeds and slow speeds are recommended for the machining process of this alloy. Breakers or curlers can also be used as the chips might be stringy or tough.

Hardening

Nitronic 33™ can be hardened when cold worked. It cannot be hardened under thermal treatment.

NITRONIC 60 (S21800) FEATURES
